Fair Use Policy
On record.so, recordings, recording length, team members, viewers and video requests are unlimited. The only limit on your plan is the storage it states. This policy covers the rare cases where record.so is used for something it is not for.
We never restrict
- Storage. It is what your plan says, and you can add more any time.
- How many recordings you make, and how long they are
- How big your team is
- How many people watch your videos
- Normal use of video requests and sharing
What this policy covers
Broadcasting or CDN use
Publishing videos on high-traffic public sites, spreading viral content, or using record.so as video hosting infrastructure. In short, bandwidth far beyond normal business and education use.
Several Free accounts
More than one Free account opened by the same person or organization to get around the Free limits.
Spam and bulk automation
Video requests, sharing or invites used to send unsolicited bulk messages.
Automation outside the product
Scripts, bots or scraping that put heavy load on the system outside the interfaces we provide.
How we handle it
Good-faith overuse, like high bandwidth. We never cut anything off automatically. We contact you first and work out a solution with you within 14 days, such as changing how the videos are used or a plan made for the need.
Spam, fake accounts or clear abuse. We may restrict the account without notice.
